Audio Stories
I am a free-lance audio story producer. Currently I’m working with The Columbia Gorge Tourism Alliance, The Eastern Oregon Visitor’s Association, Gorge Transit, The Trout Lake Abbey, and the Celilo Cancer Center to produce compelling audio stories.
I have had the special pleasure of working with the Columbia Gorge Tourism Alliance on their Accessible Gorge Audio Trails story project. In 2024, we created over 75 unique stories by interviewing 30+ experts, such as tribal elders, ecologists, geologists, historians and cultural curators to create interesting audio recordings to listen to along five Washington trails. In 2025, we received a Travel Oregon grant and a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Storytelling grant to continue the project in Oregon. Check out the Washington audio stories by either visiting them or listening from home (see links below)! Recordings are in both English and Spanish.

I have also had the honor of interviewing tribal members of the Yakama Nation, the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs, and the Nez Perce Tribe. As I work to get these audio stories out on local hiking trails, I want to offer them here in case they are the wisdom you seek.
